Sr. Sales Manager (West)   (Vista, California)

Under minimal supervision, the Sr. Sales Manager is essential to the sales department for achieving revenue targets performed in the following two areas: 1- Direct sales responsibility with assigned prospects and accounts and 2-Sales leadership of the company’s strategic “Key Initiatives” with all sales manager and their accounts in the assigned region. This position will assist management in driving targeted key initiative sales with existing accounts and the acquisition of new accounts with sales manager. The Sr. Sales Manager role does not include direct management responsibility of any personnel.

• Lead sales managers in a “hunter” role across territories to develop and cultivate new opportunities. Identify business needs and drive the selling of solutions for new markets, target accounts as well as existing sales channels that align with Directed product offerings and priorities.
• Develop and close sales opportunities for assigned “Key initiatives”, product(s): Window Film, Canadian brand products, or as periodically assigned.
• Develop new sales targets by researching and identifying potential accounts; soliciting, building rapport; presenting products providing technical information and explanations; preparing quotations and closing sales directly with accounts assigned and with sales managers and their account base in the key initiatives categories.
• Close sales, facilitate orders as required.  Maintain communication with both sales and product planning by troubleshooting, reporting, and tracking problems.
• Maintains and improves quality results by following standards; recommending improved policies and procedures to sales and other departments.
• Accomplishes department and organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
• Travel throughout assigned regions to meet with Sales Managers and their customers to maintain communication, discuss concerns and provide support as required.
• Train and guide Sales Managers in developing sales skills and techniques, particularly in the window film, Connected Car (SmartStart) and Interface/Digital categories.
• Acts as key liaison between VP and Sales Managers on key policy changes and/or special promotions.  Reviews Sales Managers’ forecasts and tracks performance of the individual territories.  Assist the VP in establishing and updating Sales Manager's quotas as required.  Ensures that all brands and product categories are properly represented and sold.
• Assesses competitors by analyzing and summarizing competitor information and trends; identifying sales opportunities.
• Active involvement in tradeshows, trainings and other promotional events.


• Strong industry product knowledge for OEM and after-market transactions. 
• Ability to manage and develop multifaceted goals and objectives and to clearly communicate and present these to customers, co-workers and supervisor. 
• Individual must be able to present an appropriate company image as well as a demonstrate sensitivity and understanding of cultural diversity within the organization as well in the industry. 
• Must be an individual who can be relied upon to provide direction to customers that is directly in line with organizational goals and objectives. 
• Must hold and maintain a valid driver's license and a set minimum of liability in car insurance. 
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.


• Position requires an individual with strong interpersonal and communication (written and oral) skills. 
• Must be PC literate. 
• Requires ability to dissect, assemble and process information which requires balancing company and customer needs. 
• Strong industry product knowledge for OEM and after-market transactions. 
• Ability to manage and develop multifaceted goals and objectives and to clearly communicate and present these to customers, co-workers and supervisor. 
• Must have ability to retain vast array of company information (i.e. parts, products, prices, etc.).


Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or minimum of 5 years consumer electronics experience
