Directed Announces New Hires Frank DeMartin and Craig Armstrong

Today, Directed announced the addition of two new team members; Frank DeMartin as the SVP of Product Development and Engineering, and Craig Armstrong as SVP and GM for Global Car Dealer Business.
April 15, 2014, Vista, CA - Directed, a world leader in automotive electronics, is pleased to announce the recent appointments of two highly accomplished individuals to newly created positions at the company. Frank DeMartin has become Senior Vice President of Product Development and Engineering, and Craig Armstrong has assumed the role of Senior Vice President & General Manager for our Global Car Dealer Business.

Frank DeMartin has an extensive background in product development, product management, design and engineering as well as in sales and marketing. He served as Vice-President of Development for 8 years at Mitsubishi Electronics Visual Solutions America where he was responsible for providing strategic direction to their design and engineering divisions. Other past positions include Director of Engineering Development and Marketing at Sharp Electronics where he oversaw the launch of their Aquos line, and Associate Director of Business Development at Sony Corporation of America.

Craig Armstrong will head Directed’s growth in the New Car Dealer Channel. Craig has extensive experience in channel development, sales and marketing including 11 years in the New Car Dealer Channel. He previously served as VP of Channel Marketing for LoJack and the GM of Boomerang Tracking. As President and CEO of LifeSafer/LMG Holdings Inc., the #1 ignition interlock company in the US, he and his team tripled revenues and quadrupled the enterprise value in just 3 years.
