It's here!
Starting this week, VIPER is releasing its new VIPER SMARTSTART 3.0 app, the first smartphone app that serves as a cloud-connected remote start system.
There's a lot of excitement around the release of the groundbreaking new app - which takes the connectivity between users and their vehicles to a whole new level and offers many new high-tech features to our customers.
There are also, no doubt, many questions that current VIPER SMARTSTART users have about the new app.
What does it mean to you?
The good news is there's a little something for everybody -- with VIPER SMARTSTART 3.0 you can now control your car from your smartphone using the power of the cloud.

What do you have to do?
It's simple, just download the app!
How do I know if I get 3.0 features?
For current VIPER SMARTSTART owners using VSM or DSM 200 or 250 models, your system will be updated via free over-the-air firmware upgrade over the next 2-3 weeks.
For more details on which new features are supported by your system please visit the Support Center at www.MySmartStart.com.
Please note your SMARTSTART system is temporarily unavailable during the firmware upgrade. You won't be able to control your vehicle using the app until the upgrade is finished installing.
