
CTP Program Terms and Conditions
For a period of THREE YEARS from the date of purchase of select DIRECTED, VIPER and CLIFFORD units ("Unit(s)") manufactured by DIRECTED, LLC (hereinafter "DIRECTED"), a Content Theft Protection warranty is provided, subject to the following terms and conditions. The Content Theft Protection warranty is non-transferrable and cannot be combined with any other offers. Limit: Only one claim is permitted during 36 month period. Limit: In any and all cases, no more than one claim will be covered. The warranty period is 36 months from the purchase date, as evidenced by the original bill of sale or receipt. Unit must be purchased from an Authorized DIRECTED Dealer in the United States. The Unit must be installed by an Authorized DIRECTED Dealer in the United States. A police report must be filed for the Stolen or Vandalized Vehicle and/or Contents. Maximum dollar amount that the warrantor shall be obligated to pay for any claim associated with the Content Theft Protection program is $2,500. Neither the Warrantor nor its designated representative(s) shall be liable for any incidental or consequential damages; including but not limited to: property damage; fines; or lost production, time, contracts or income; resulting from delays in any service, the inability to render any service, the unavailability of remedy; or resulting during the period in which the Vehicle is unaccounted for after it has been Stolen. (Note: some states do not allow the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages so this limitation may not be applicable.)
THIS LIMITED WARRANTY AGREEMENT DOES NOT COVER ANY THEFT, LOSS, FAILURE OR DAMAGE OF ANY KIND IN CONNECTION WITH OR RESULTING FROM:
An alleged Failure in which proof of the police report filed by (or on behalf of) the Holder for the Stolen or Vandalized Vehicle and/or Contents cannot be confirmed;
An Anti-Theft Product that was purchased from a party that was not an authorized "Retailer", as defined in section "A. 2.";
An Anti-Theft Product that was installed by a party that was not an authorized "Installer" as defined in section "A. 3.";
An Anti-Theft Product in which the original installation date exceeds the valid Term of this Agreement or in which proof of the original installation date cannot be confirmed;
Use of any attachments or accessories in direct association with the Anti-Theft Product that are not recommended, authorized and/or approved by the Warrantor or the manufacturer’s owner’s manual;
Lack of ensuring routine inspections and service as specified in the Anti-Theft Product.
EXCEPT AS OTHERWISE SPECIFICALLY STATED HEREIN, WARRANTOR MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ABOUT THE PRODUCT.
A.2. DIRECTED appoints select retailers to its network of authorized "Retailers" to ensure the highest level of consumer satisfaction with its products. DIRECTED supports its network with training, merchandising, warranty services, databases and other tools ensuring effective end to end sales, service and aftersales coverage.
A.3. DIRECTED trains and provides resources to its network of authorized "Installers" to ensure proper interface with the vehicle and access to databases and services to support high quality workmanship.
